25 Oct UIST Partnership with the Chinese Embassy
On October 22, 2024, the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” celebrated its 15th anniversary at the university campus in Ohrid. The event brought together over 150 attendees, including students, faculty, alumni, and distinguished guests. Our honored guest was Mr. Xu Lei, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in N. Macedonia, who was invited to deliver a keynote speech, marking a milestone in the university’s long-standing collaboration with institutions in China.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Ivan Bimbilovski, the Rector of UIST, highlighted the fruitful partnership between the University and China, emphasizing the continuous support from the Chinese Embassy.
The event showcased the signed agreement and the positive relationship between UIST and the People’s Republic of China, with plans to enhance opportunities for students through educational exchanges and further cooperation.
