On October 13, 2023, Prof. Dr. Ismail Serageldin gave a lecture at the University of Information Science and Technology, “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid. He was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Anis Sefidanis, and the Dean of the Faculty of Applied ITMIR, Asst. Prof. Goran Shibakovski. Also among the distinguished guests was the former President of R. Macedonia, H.E. Dr. Gjorge Ivanov.
Dr. Serageldin is a Former Vice President of the World Bank 1993 – 2000, Founding Director of the new Library of Alexandria, Patron of the International Science Council (ICS), and Co-Chair of Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
