Attitudes towards Cybercrime at UIST

Professor Ustijana Rechkoska Shiksoka, Ph.D., Vice-Rector of the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle,” discussed cybercrime and the challenges that the contemporary information society faces in dealing with this issue on MRT. Recognizing cybercrime as a societal threat, she emphasized the crucial need to educate professionals capable of providing modern solutions to safeguard not only government institutions but also various sectors within the state. The creation of defense solutions is emphasized, given the prohibitively high costs of ready-made solutions available in the global market.

UIST stands out as an exemplary institution, showcasing an excellent strategy in the realm of cybersecurity.
