„Be You, IT Girl too“, University of Information Science and Technology, Celebrated 11 February International Day of Women and Girls in Science
With the motto “Be You, IT Girl too”, the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle”, for the fourth time celebrated the 11 February, Day of Women and Girls in Science. On 22 December 2015, the General Assembly of UNESCO decided to establish 11 February, as an annual International Day to recognize the critical role women and girls play in science and technology. Those present had the opportunity to hear motivational talks of Ustijana Rechkoska Shikoska Ph.D. Vice-Rector; Jovanka Damoska Sekuloska Ph.D. Dean of CSE; Marija Gjurova, Simona Kucinoska, Eliza Bajrami alumni of UIST as well as Ana Aleksova student at CSE.
