11 Mar Empowering Women through the National Platform for Women’s Entrepreneurship: Initiatives and Impact at University ‘St. Paul the Apostle’
The National Platform for Women’s Entrepreneurship comprises individuals such as Professor Ustijana Rechkoska Shikoska, Ph.D., the Vice Rector, and Ana Krsteska, MSc Librarian & Public Procurement, both associated with the University “St. Paul the Apostle.” This platform operates across all eight planning regions in the country, with the establishment of Women’s Councils in each region serving as dedicated entities to promote women’s entrepreneurship.
One such council, the Ohrid Council for Supporting Women’s Entrepreneurship, formed by the Municipal Council of Ohrid, is comprised of 17 women representing diverse business sectors. On the occasion of Women’s Day, the Council for the Support of Women’s Entrepreneurship organized various initiatives, including the donation of a collection of literary works by Macedonian authors. This contribution has enriched the library at the University of Information Sciences and Technologies “St. Paul the Apostle.”
