Honoring the Legacy: UIST’s Appreciation to Saints Cyril and Methodius

As part of the official program celebrating May 24, the day of the Saints Cyril and Methodius, Slavonic Enlighteners’ Day, the Municipality of Ohrid and Mayor Kiril Pecakov hosted a commemoration ceremony. During the ceremony, a delegation from the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle,” led by President of the Senate Professor Rasim Salkoski, along with the Deans associate professor Aneta Velkoska and associate professor Jovanka Damoska Sekuloska, placed fresh flowers at the memorial of the Holy Brothers Saints Cyril and Methodius on the Ohrid Quay. Their legacy exemplifies the crucial role of education and cultural advancement as the foundation of every enlightened society and this heartfelt tribute underscores the university’s commitment to preserving and celebrating historical and cultural heritage. Through education, we can collectively strive towards a more prosperous future.
