Genie of the Electronic Lamp: from Vacuum Tubes to Digital Consciousness: the Development of Computer Processors and the Birth of Artificial Intelligence is the topic of the forthcoming interactive lecture and AR exhibition by UIST Assoc. Prof. Dr. sc. Anis Sefidanoski.
The unique collection of Dr. Anis Sefidanis offers original samples from the earliest representatives of IBM electronic lamps to the latest generation of modern processors of multiple heterogeneous cores, which operate with high frequency and parallelism. With the help of a mobile application that uses augmented reality, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the history, architecture and application of each exhibited artifact.
You will have the opportunity to explore the possibilities as well as the challenges of artificial intelligence. You can also visit the Sefidanis Institute of Exponential Technologies, where the first supercomputer of the American company NVIDIA is located.
