International Girls in ICT Day Celebrated with “Cyber Pathways for Women” Event

CIDR’s CyberPathways for Women initiative commemorated International Girls in ICT Day with an event hosted by the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid. The event featured presentations from university professors and students, including Prof. Ustijana Rechsoska Shikoska, PhD, Vice-Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dijana Capeska Bogatinoska, PhD; Prof. Elena Hadzieva, PhD; Senior Lecturer Lina Milosheska, MSc.; Assoc. Prof. Mersiha Ismajloska, PhD; Marija Bukalevska MSc and Assoc. Prof. Aleksandar Karadimche, PhD.

The primary objective of Cyber Pathways for Women is to address disparities in cybersecurity employment, particularly among young girls and women.
