25 Oct Professor Sefidanis at the 19th Annual MASIT Conference
On October 29th and 30th, Prof. Dr. Anis Sefidanis from the Faculty of Machine Intelligence and Robotics at the University of Information Science and Technology (UIST) “St. Paul the Apostle” will attend the 19th Annual MASIT Conference. Prof. Sefidanis will deliver two key presentations, focusing on the themes “Artificial Intelligence and Transhumanism: How to Redefine the Human Potential?” and “Artificial Intelligence: Humanity’s Last Art?”
Prof. Sefidanis is the founder of the Center for Research and Development of Exponential Technologies “SEFIDANIS”. His work delves deeply into the intersections of technology and human interaction, examining how advancements can transform human potential and challenge our understanding of identity in the era of artificial intelligence. Known for his pioneering work, Prof. Sefidanis has designed various innovative projects, among which stands out the humanoid robot “Alshar” – the world’s first DJ robot capable of creating music in real time.
This year’s MASIT conference, hosted by Macedonia’s ICT Chamber of Commerce, aims to bring together leading experts, academics, and industry professionals to explore how digital transformation and artificial intelligence continue to shape society. Prof. Sefidanis’ sessions will offer insights into the role of transhumanism and AI in expanding human capabilities, as well as the ethical, social, and philosophical dimensions associated with these advancements.
With his extensive background in robotics and artificial intelligence, Prof. Sefidanis is set to provide a unique perspective on how technology could redefine human potential and creativity, exploring AI’s role in both practical applications and as a form of “humanity’s last art.” This discussion promises to challenge attendees’ perspectives on the role of technology in the modern world and offer glimpses into a future where human and machine interaction may become even more intertwined.
MASIT’s conference underscores Macedonia’s commitment to fostering innovation and dialogue in the digital era, and Prof. Sefidanis’ contribution is expected to be a highlight of the event.
