New Successful Master’s Defenses at UIST

In the recent period, five students from the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” have earned their Master’s degrees.

On 09.11.23, two defenses took place. The first defense was conducted by Blagoj Shikoski, presenting his thesis titled “A Green Cloud Paradigm for Empowering Musician Networks,” under the mentorship of Associate Professor Dijana Capeska Bogatinoska, PhD. The commission included Associate Professor Anis Sefidanoski, PhD, as president, along with Associate Professor Atanas Hristov, PhD, and Assistant Professor Goran Shibakovski, PhD.

The second defense was by Danail Runchevski, presenting his thesis titled “Exploring Surface Sampling Techniques for Enhanced Realism and Creative Inspiration in Computer Graphics and Visualization,” under the mentorship of Professor Ustijana Rechkoska Shikoska, PhD. The commission included Associate Professor Aleksandar Karadimche, PhD, as president, and Associate Professor Yane Bakreski, PhD.

On 28.11.23, Jovan Kanevche defended his thesis on “Autonomous Governance: Bridging Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in Decentralized Autonomous Organizations,” supervised by Professor Ustijana Rechkoska Shikoska, PhD. The commission consisted of Associate Professor Atanas Hristov, PhD, as president, and Assistant Professor Rasim Salkoski, PhD.

Oliver Simonoski defended his thesis on the topic “Block MedCare – Design and Implementation of blockchain and distributed ledger of electronic health data” under the mentorship of Associate Professor Dijana Capeska Bogatinoska, PhD. The commission included Assistant Professor Daniela Mechkaroska, Phd, as president, along with Associate Professor Aneta Velkoska, PhD and Assistant Professor Rasim Salkoski, PhD. 

Finally, on 29.11.23, Marija Bukalevska defended her thesis on “Online Social Networks: Threats, Risks, Privacy, and Security – Solutions and Guidelines for Better Protection on Online Social Networks.” The commission included Professor Ustijana Rechkoska Shikoska, PhD, as president, along with Associate Professor Aleksandar Karadimche, PhD, and Assistant Professor Goran Shibakovski, PhD.
