04 Oct Opening Ceremony of 2022/2023 Academic Year at the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” Ohrid
After a two-and-a-half-year period of online teaching due to the worldwide pandemic, the first formal class of the academic year 2022/2023 was held at UIST “St. Paul the Apostle” Ohrid on 3 October 2022.
With the students coming back in the classrooms, the dynamics of live interactive teaching and many other activities return as well.
The attendees were first greeted by UIST Vice-Rector Ustijana Rechkoska Shikoska and Mayor of Ohrid Municipality Kiril Pecakov.
The Center for Digital Art within UIST has prepared and presented a video of successful UIST alumni sharing their experience and greeting the new UIST freshmen.
What made the opening ceremony quite interesting was the address of UIST Rector which included a welcoming speech completely generated by artificial intelligence.
The beginning of the new academic year was also supported by the Director of the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development Festim Halili.
We wish all UIST freshmen the best of luck!
