15 Dec Successful “Open Day” at UIST
On 12.12.2022 the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” organized Open day activities for students and the general public in order to inform all interested parties of study programs and research activities at the university. The Open Day is primarily intended for high school graduates who are facing an important life decision; choosing the right higher education institution where they will continue their academic pursuit. In addition to the presentation of the study programs offered by the five faculties at UIST, the attendees had the opportunity to participate in interesting tutorials, lectures and presentations organized by UIST professors and students.
High school students were informed about the opportunities, exchange programs and advantages of studying at UIST. They had the opportunity to meet and talk to professors and students at UIST, learn about their projects and meet people with whom they can share their passion for ICT. In the future, UIST intends to organize similar events where potential new students will have a hands-on experience of UIST
