09 Jun TAKE PART IN THE SELF-EVALUATION, YOUR OPINION MATTERS
During the period 08.06.22 – 22.06.22 UIST will conduct a survey regarding the self-evaluation of the University. Each student can anonymously share their thoughts for the courses they listened to during the summer semester and submit to the evaluation committee. Therefore, any information they submit to the survey will be completely anonymous, so students are free to share their reviews. They can do so by clicking on this link tinyurl.com/2p82uy6m.
The evaluation process covers the whole functionality of the university. It contains three parts;
- Questions related to the administrative issues
- Questions regarding the study program of the student
- Questions related to the instructors and the instruction of the course
It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to fulfill the survey.
Student ratings and comments provide one source of data for review and promotion committees: The student perspective at a particular moment in time, at the end of the course. Course evaluation data are useful, because students are experts in evaluating their experience and perceptions as learners. It is important also to provide a means for students to have a voice and for faculty to remain accountable to their students.
It is worth mentioning that UIST aims to improve itself in every aspect and we can best do that by having the student reviews.
