11 Nov UIST and ULSIT signed a Memorandum of Understanding on World Science Day
On 10 November 2023, on the World Science Day for Peace and Development 2023 Theme: Building Trust in Science, the University of Information Science and Technology (UIST) St. Paul the Apostle signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT) from Sofia, Bulgaria. This Memorandum of Understanding is an initiative by the General Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Macedonia, H. E. Mr. Nikolay Dimitrov. The delegation from the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in Sofia, Bulgaria, was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Information Sciences, Prof. Dr. Georgi Dimitrov, and Prof. Ivan Garvanov, Director of Educational Policy at this University. The Bulgarian delegation was welcomed by the Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ustijana Rechkoska-Shikoska, Assoc. Prof. Jane Bakreski, Assoc. Prof. Aleksandar Karadimche, and Assist. Prof. Goran Shibakovski from UIST. With the partners from Bulgaria, UIST will work on joint research activities and projects, mobility and exchange of faculty staff and students, and development of joint study programs.
