18 May UIST at the Fair of Education and Career
The University of Information Science and Technology St. Paul the Apostle participated at the Fair of Education and Career organized by the Youth Center in Ohrid on 12 May 2023. The Fair was held at the premises of the former military base “Kasarna” in Ohrid. At the Fair, representatives from the university: Vice-rector prof. Ustijana Rechkoska-Shikoska, the deans assoc. prof. Aneta Velkoska, assist. prof. Aleksandar Karadimche, assist. prof. Goran Shibakovski, and Miss Jasmina Andonovska as a manager of the UIST career center, took part. UIST faculty staff presented to the high-school students and interested visitors the study programs and the possibilities for career development in ICT. Vice rector Rechkoska-Shikoska told media representatives: “Our University offers modern ICT study programs where students study through three-year and four-year programs. It is a wonderful chance for a trendy profession that is currently the highest paid at the job market, with many opportunities for business and opening new start-ups, scientific research, and applications in numerous fields”.
