11 May UIST hosted the project “KNOWLEDGE, PROTECTION AND EVALUATION OF THE OLD URBAN CORES”
The University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle”, on May 9, 2022, hosted the final seminar of the project “Knowledge, Protection and Evaluation of the Old Urban Cores”. The project coordinator is the association Remarkable Sites & Cities of France, in partnership with the Republic of North Macedonia and Albania. Remarkable Sites & Cities of France supports the cities and territories of its network in implementing urban heritage planning and sustainable development policies. The University “St. Paul the Apostle” represented by Asst. Prof. Yane Bakreski, together with the Municipality of Ohrid, and the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments and Museum – Ohrid, participated in the working group “Signage for Cultural Heritage Sites”. UIST contributed to this project with its expertise in applying modern computer technologies to protect, manage, and promote cultural heritage.
