UIST participated in the European Young Innovators Festival 2023 in Graz

The University of Information Science and Technology, “St. Paul the Apostle,” had the privilege to be part of the European Young Innovators Festival organized by WSA in Graz, Austria, from 25 to 28 April 2023.

This event enabled the participants of the PorakaNova project “mPreneur: Youth Mobile Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Future” to stimulate the capacity-building of young aspiring entrepreneurs and students. This project created an opportunity for young people who want to start their startups are encouraged by mPreneur to enhance their abilities in using ICT and app coding, which are essential for increasing youth employability as well as community resilience. Youth will create long-lasting, inventive, and mobile commerce solutions to enduring community concerns.

The WSA organized the European Young Innovators Festival. It allowed us to connect with the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem in Graz and Styria. Young entrepreneurs, students, businesses, and governments from all around Europe may share knowledge and develop new skills at the European Young Innovators Festival in Graz. This event created a chance to gain new skills in engaging workshops. Participants converse at eye level while supporting emerging digital entrepreneurs and their solutions that have an impact. Representatives from the University, Assistant Professor Aleksandar Karadimche, Assistant Professor Mersiha Ismajloska, and students Jovan Ilovski and Benjamin Adjiovski had the opportunity to network with judges, mentors and peers to exchange experiences. Together, they celebrated the European Young Innovators with high-level attendees and contributors during the award ceremony.
