Visit of the Rector Bimbilovski at Lanzhou Jiaotong University

On 22 September 2024, the Rector Ivan Bimbilovski visited the Lanzhou Jiaotong University. During his visit, Rector Bimbilovski was welcomed by the President of Lanzhou Jiaotong University Di Shenggkui, and Chen Xichun, Vice President of this University.

The cooperation between Lanzhou Jiaotong University and the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle”, began in 2016. Since then, more than 40 exchanges and visits have been carried out, and the “China Lanzhou Jiaotong University – N. Macedonia University Academic Exchange Conference” was successfully held. Also, the “China Gansu – N. Macedonia Science and Technology and Culture Exchange Center Laboratory” was built in N. Macedonia, providing professors and students of the two universities with joint development opportunities for mutual learning and mutual reference, creating a hardware platform and a cooperation mechanism for scientific research cooperation between the two universities, and also providing a new way for the two countries to carry out educational, cultural and scientific cooperation and exchanges.

The Rector Ivan Bimbilovski pointed out that the pragmatic cooperation between the UIST “St. Paul the Apostle” and Lanzhou Jiaotong University over the years has provided teachers and students with a way to learn about China’s long-standing culture and modern technology, and the laboratories built by both parties have achieved several excellent scientific research results. The UIST “St. Paul the Apostle” will continue to promote cooperation under the framework of the cooperation agreement, expand the scale of personnel exchanges, enhance the level of scientific research cooperation, and enrich the forms of exchanges and cooperation.

During the visit, the leaders of the two universities jointly signed a cooperation agreement between Lanzhou Jiaotong University and the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” – Ohrid.
